Having fun and playing is vital to maintaining a healthy artistic practice. I play by letting my subconscious take over and drawing characters and scenes that I find exciting and enjoyable through playing with my sketchbook and mark-making materials. I create a vast array of doodles that I then collage to make new characters and compositions. This act of curation allows the doodles to live a second life and play with them further. This play is a singular piece that is an accumulation of subconscious moments that tell a story of the joyous parts of the mind.
